Role
Stranding Function: The 500 high-stranding machine is mainly used to strand multiple single-wire electrical wires or cable cores together according to certain rules in the manufacturing process of electric wires and cables. Through stranding, the flexibility, mechanical strength and stability of the electric wires and cables can be enhanced. For example, in the production of power cables, stranding multiple copper wires together enables the cable to withstand certain tensile forces and bending without breaking easily.
Maintaining Compact Structure: It can make the stranded wire have a compact structure and reduce the gaps between the wires. This can effectively prevent the intrusion of moisture, dust and other impurities. Meanwhile, during the laying and use of the cable, the cores inside will not loosen easily, ensuring the stability of electrical performance.
Improving Electromagnetic Performance: In the production of some electric wires and cables where electromagnetic compatibility needs to be considered, such as communication cables, stranding can reduce electromagnetic interference. The stranded wires can offset part of the potential difference generated by electromagnetic induction, thus reducing the noise during signal transmission and improving the communication quality.

Configuration
Pay-off Device: It is usually equipped with multiple pay-off stands that can place multiple single wires or cores simultaneously. The pay-off stands have tension control devices to ensure that the tension of the wire during the pay-off process is uniform and avoid the degradation of stranding quality caused by overly loose or tight wires.
Stranding Main Machine: The main machine part is the core component, including the stranding cage and transmission device. The structure of the stranding cage is reasonably designed to enable the wires to be evenly distributed during the stranding process, and the transmission device can provide stable power to ensure the stranding speed and quality.
Combining Die: It is located before the stranding area and is used to preliminarily combine the wires released from multiple pay-off devices and guide them into the stranding area, making the stranding process smoother.
Take-up Device: There is a power-driven take-up reel that can take up the wire according to the set take-up speed and tension. Moreover, the take-up device usually has a wire arranging mechanism that can neatly arrange the stranded wire on the take-up reel for the convenience of subsequent packaging and use.
General Application in the Production Process of Wire Materials
Production of Power Cables: It is used for stranding copper or aluminum conductors. For example, when producing medium-voltage (10kV - 35kV) power cables, multiple round or sector-shaped copper conductors are stranded together to form the conductive core of the cable. The stranded conductor can improve the current-carrying capacity and mechanical strength of the cable, enabling it to transmit electrical energy safely and stably in different laying environments.
Production of Control Cables: Multiple insulated cores are stranded. Control cables are used to transmit control signals, such as in the fields of automated production lines and elevator control systems. Through stranding, the electromagnetic interference between the cores can be reduced, and the flexibility of the cable can be improved, facilitating laying and installation.
Production of Communication Cables: It is also applied in the production process of communication cables (such as twisted pair cables, coaxial cables, etc.). Taking the twisted pair cable as an example, two copper conductors with insulating layers are stranded according to a certain pitch, which can effectively reduce electromagnetic interference and improve the quality of signal transmission, and is suitable for fields such as computer networks and telephone communications.
